Description

Phosphoric acids are clear solutions. All strengths comply with the specifications of the Food Chemicals Codex. It has been certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use in the treatment of drinking water at a maximym dosage of 13.7 mg/L of 75% H3PO4, 12.9 mg/L of 80% H3PO4 and 12.1 mg/L at 85% H3PO4.

Uses

Food: Acidulation of soft drinks, particularly cola. Manufacture of cottage and processed cheese, fats, shortenings;pH control in manufacture of imitation jellies; nutrient in production of yeast; control of bacteria growth in selected processed foods; flocculating agent for clarification of sugar juices after liming process. Manufacture of phosphate salts.
