Description

Cosmetic grade hydrogen peroxide is suitable for dilution to low concentrations (e.g. 3%) with deionized or distilled water. Hydrogen peroxide is a clear colorless liquid. It is soluble with water in any concentration. As it decomposes into water and oxygen H2O2 does not leave any toxic residues. Hydrogen peroxide solutions themselves are nonflammable but can ignite flammable materials. Contamination with organic material such as dirt, heavy metals, salts, etc. can cause decomposition. Spills can be cleared up by washing with plenty of water.
