1. Test method ASTM E449 is similar.
2. Use 1000 grams for 5 minutes. Use Rotap Shaker set for 145-155 taps per minute and 290-310 rotations per minute. Use test method ASTM D345-90 for sampling.
Strontium cannot be distinguished from calcium in the specification test method, and is included in the calcium chloride results. Calcium hydroxide is also included in the calcium determination, but the calcium chloride results are corrected for this component..
