We at JCI Jones Chemicals Inc. (JCI) fully understand and accept our responsibility to provide for the health, safety and security of not only our own employees and customers but of the environment and to every extent possible, the residents of the communities in which our facilities are located as well. In our continued pursuit of this, we are committed to both the spirit and requirements of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care global initiative, to include all Responsible Care Guiding Principles

JCI's goal of zero accidents, injuries, and or incidents of any type that can potentially impact our employees, our neighbors, and or the environment provides the foundation upon which we operate and has the commitment of all JCI employees, to include all levels of management. All JCI employees will demonstrate a personal commitment to Responsible Care and have roles and responsibilities in identifying, controlling, reducing, and eliminating hazards and employee safety is integrated into all aspects of our daily work activities. We will work to meet and or exceed all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements applicable to health, safety, security, and environmental protection as well as the rules, policies, and procedures developed by JCI over the course of our 80+ year history.

JCI is committed to promoting and maintaining open communication regarding our performance with all stakeholders, to include the local community and will work continuously to improve our performance with respect to health, safety, security, and environmental protection through the establishment and evaluation of measurable goals, objectives, and targets. Our executive staff will provide visible leadership and proactive guidance applicable to our Responsible Care compliance efforts and will maintain an active role in the support, development, implementation, and review of this program at JCI.
